CELEBRANT

My name is Aine Harrington, and I am a dedicated family celebrant and registered solemniser. My journey has led me to train with the Irish Institute of Celebrants (IIOC) and Entheos. In addition to this role, I also serve as a social care worker in the local community.

I hail from the beautiful County Galway, where I continue to reside. While life has taken me to different places, including New York, one constant passion of mine has always been traveling. One unforgettable adventure was the few weeks I spent walking the Camino from Porto to Santiago.

I hold a special fascination for star signs, and I embrace my Leo traits, making me an affectionate, warm, and cheerful person.

In my leisure time, I enjoy activities such as walking, cooking, and spending time with my family and animals.

The realisation that I didn’t quite fit the mold of traditional life choices dawned on me when I attended my cousin’s wedding, which was beautifully officiated by a celebrant. This experience sparked my interest in exploring alternative ways to celebrate life’s milestones, be it weddings/vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies, funerals, or other cherished occasions.

Becoming a family celebrant was a moment of clarity, finding the perfect way to celebrate life’s special moments. I’m thrilled about the chance to assist couples, parents, and families in crafting and reimagining the meaningful experiences they want. My commitment is to help people create ceremonies that truly represent their unique spirit and preferences, letting their true selves shine through.

I’m here to help you create and conduct ceremonies that truly reflect your style and identity.
